Weekend in Bath

Weekend in Bath | Carolyn Carter blog

The late May bank holiday is our anniversary and this year we were celebrating 10 years since we said 'i do'. We decided it was probably something to mark in a special kind of way, so we booked a night away (without the kids!) and headed to the lovely city of Bath in Somerset.

Thanks to some generous people on instagram, we discovered some wonderful little gems in the city, spending time visiting the independent shops & cafes. Two favourites... The Foodie Bugle (for lunch, tea & cake) & The Fig Store (to browse, shop and be inspired).

We also happened upon a pretty little Georgian garden whilst ambling round the park. Hope you enjoy the pictures...

I also wanted to let you know, I'll be doing a photo walk in my local park mid-July. So if you would like to come along and get some hands on help and advice with your photography,  then check out all the details here and book your spot!

I also have 2 photography workshops coming up over the next few months here in Birmingham, there are still some places left if you're interested in joining me. I would love to help you get to grips with your camera, so you can start taking beautiful pictures too.
