Documenting the days

From city trip to country ramble... here are some snaps from last months outings.

Firstly a day out in Oxford, with a visit to the ashmolean museum & a meander round the cobbled streets.

Then on to one of our favourite national trusts; Hidcote - with its aspirational gardens & lush greenhouse.

This lovely scene was some kind of tribute to the tadpoles apparently...

Such sunny pictures are a far cry from todays grey & wet weather! Here's hoping it will be short lived and there will be plenty more outdoor ventures like these over the coming months.

In other news... things have got a whole lot busier for myself and good friend Jo (aka The Paperdolls) as we throw all our energy into our forthcoming Paperdolls Handmade Market. It will take place at the Custard Factory in the centre of Birmingham on June 17th - with over 50 stalls to shop of amazing designer makers from in and around the region.

We have been busy promoting it and one of the aspects of that has been going on a studio tour. Armed with my camera and Jo with her notebook, we've enjoyed visiting the artists & makers, learning about their creative journeys and the work they produce and capturing it all in their various studio set ups. Go have a look & a read here...

I have also added 2 new photography workshop dates that will take place at the honest skincare store here in Birmingham. If you are keen to get to grips with your digital camera -
