Discovering 'Toft'!
Last weekend we took a trip over to an alpaca farm in Dunchurch called, Toft. The farm is home to over 200 alpacas where their wool is used to turn into the most beautifully soft yarn you will find. There is an onsite shop where they sell the yarn as well as host crochet & knitting workshops. There's a pretty decent cafe there too!
We spent a really nice afternoon walking in the fields, meeting the alpacas and eventually spending a small fortune in the shop!
The wool is amazing to work with and I've since felt very inspired to start some new projects and get to grips with some new skills. I am planning to spend some days in February developing new designs and patterns that I'm also hoping to make available as downloads, so you can make them too!
