The Isle of Arran
This year’s summer holiday was spent exploring the beautiful, rugged landscape of the Isle of Arran in Scotland. It was a much needed escape from our busy, city life. We turned off our phones and rewilded ourselves in the calming outdoors and peaceful landscapes that surrounded us. The girls relished time in the fresh air and we read, walked, ate and rested!
I haven’t had much experience in landscape photography and it was harder than it looked, but I took the opportunity whilst in this amazing place, to push myself and try something new. With photography, like most creative pursuits, you have to keep the wheels well oiled and try new things to get better and more experienced at the craft. I’m no Ansel Adams, but I enjoyed experimenting and I look forward to developing the film version of some of these soon.
