Summer days...
Before summer feels like a distant memory... I've finally got round to posting these photos. I want to keep an element of personal things on the blog, before it gets totally taken over by work related content as it was where my blogging began and I think it's nice to dip in and out of different aspects of life on here. I do find myself going back and looking over old posts I have documented and feel glad that I did.
Our summer adventures this year took us to Wales with my sister and her family. We started off on the Pembrokeshire coastline for the first half and then made our way along to the Gower. It was really quite overwhelming to see - for the first time - the beauty of this part of the world and how unspoiled it all still is.
They were those kind of summer days you dream of creating for your kids... carefree, no awareness of time, kids running barefoot all day out in the fresh air. We woke late and took our time over meals, had campfires and ate ice cream most days.
The following photos are a combination of ones taken by both myself and my sister.
It's so nice to look back on these photos even now...
We are well and truly back into normal life, but there is something very appealing about days with no routine, structure or work pressure! Hmmm...
