Our summer travels.

After a busy July with moving house and my sister's wedding, we decided to hit the road at the start of August and head off on a mini road trip with our girls in tow. Apart from our first stop off in Norfolk, the rest of the trip was fairly unplanned. We had a rough idea of where we may go, but nothing definite (or booked!)... we decided to let the weather & wind be our guide (!). All I wanted was to be out of the city and to spend as much time by the sea and in the countryside as possible.

Our trip saw us go right across to the east of England starting in Norfolk, then heading down South to Dorset and finally West camping just outside the city of Bath. We didn't quite make it to the North this time!

I took both my digital & analogue cameras... and took plenty on my phone (you may have seen some if you follow me on Instagram). I can't wait to develop the film too.

Here's a handful of the photos i took on my DSLR... hopefully giving a little taster of our time in each place.

Firstly Norfolk...

BFF's :)

A walk in the marshes...

Now to eating plums in Dorset...

Flowers from the campsite.

The very beautiful Lulworth Cove...

(Posers!)

On the train to Corfe castle...

And finally to Bath... photos taken from our time at Prior park gardens....

It feels like I've only just scratched the surface here of our 3 week trip ... but i guess I'm only sharing the pretty shots (so as not to bore you too much with excessive holidays snaps!)

It was a fabulous holiday, making nice memories with our little girls. They loved the whole camping experience, playing carefree, late bedtimes, campfires and making a ton of little buddies at every place we stayed.

I'm so glad to have this blog to document these days and to look back on in years to come.

Other places we went which I would recommend if you're in the areas:

Norfolk:
- Holkham Hall
- Brancaster beach
- Stiffkey (specifically this shop!)

Dorset:
- Studland Bay
- Tyneham Village
- Lime Regis

Bath:
- Bradford upon Avon
- The Fashion museum / the assembly rooms
- Plus the city itself which was great for shopping!
